My thoughts... Pokemon Snap

I decided to make a trip to my local game store about a week ago, and I noticed they had Pokemon Snap on sale for $5, which seemed reasonable so I bought it. Today I was bored, so I dusted off my Nintendo 64 (which wasn't really dusty at all, but it adds dramatic effect) and decided to give this game a whirl. Boy was I glad I did!

Pokemon Snap is a fun game simply for the fact that there's really no other game like it. It progresses rather quickly, and you can finish it in just a few hours, but there's really an endless amount of play time when you think about how you can go back and retry pictures you've already done to try to get a higher score.

I remember the times when my friends and I would pull an all nighter and take turns playing through this game; beating it in one night. It would've been better if the game had featured all 151 original Pokemon (it only had I think like 67). I've been waiting to see a sequel to Pokemon Snap, and with the Wii having the controller set up like it does, and this game being released onto the Virtual Console, the time just might be right.

This game is really a lot of fun if you play it would some friends, and definitely one to add to your collection if you don't have it already. You can find it fairly cheap on eBay.

New Video - Lava Lagoon (DKC2)

I've had a lot of free time, so I've been trying to get back to doing a video or two a day. Today I went ahead and did a video of Lava Lagoon, a level from Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. This isn't one of my favorite levels, because I don't really like underwater levels, but it wasn't very difficult. Let me know what you think!

New Video - Mainbrace Mayhem (DKL2)

This video was actually recorded yesterday, but I'm going to go ahead and post it now.
I decided to pick up Donkey Kong Land 2 for the Gameboy and give it a shot. This is the second level of the game, and it's a blast. I didn't practice it before recording, so you will see me make a few errors. Brought back memories of playing this during my early highschool years...

And yes, the audio is slightly out of synch. I'm still working on that...

Hello world. For awhile now, I've been posting videos on YouTube and discussing video game collecting on PetesGameRoomForum. Well I feel now is a good time for me to create a blog of my own so I can share my take on things with everyone, and promote my new videos. On this blog I will be:
